After reading other reviews for this book I had very low expectations, and maybe that's why I ended up loving it. If you read Lolita as a love story, you won't like this. But if you read it as a story of an (almost) abduction, you should enjoy this. The ending was wonderful, in an empty, depressing sort of way. Just give it a try, you won't regret it.
