wwII and the pow's in the Phillipines
I wanted to read this book to find out more about what it was like for others who were captured by the Japanese during wwII. My fathers ship( Capillo) was torpedoed, but he was on shore leave at the time. I was told my father was captured later and held at the university. I am not sure exactly where he spent the 3 1/2 Years. He was only 18 and was skin and bones when he was rescued. It was awful what he saw. He never talked about it. One time when he was drunk I pestered him to tell me. Even then he did not go into detail. Millitary or civilian we should be thankful to all who serve. Thank you so very much.
