My only regret was that they were short stories and I wanted them to be full length. Time spent with Dorothy Sayers is always time well spent. The last story featuring their children is a good introduction to the new Jill Paton Walsh book.

Fine Manners and Mystery
The Lord Peter anthology is a delight for those who love reading well-written English. English with a dollop of French and Latin, that is. Sayers was an incredible scholar and erudite writer of a series of fine mysteries which improved over time. For an insight into the between-the-World-Wars life of English society and the life of nobility without all the frills and foolishness, Sayers cannot be beaten. Give me a Sayers and I'll be happy for hours -- even though I've read them all many times!
