It's not often I say this but this book really changed my life! When I first started reading it in 2006 I was seriously overweight (around 231lbs) and desperately unhappy with myself, but worse than that, I was unhealthy. This book gives you realistic and practical steps to change your lifestyle. It's not a book about crash dieting but about making life long changes that will improve health and vitality. Since reading this in 2006 and making realistic changes to my lifestyle I have lost 60lbs. It's taken me 3.5 years but I am healthier than I have ever been and can finally see the goal posts. If you're looking for a quick fix, this book is not it but if you are willing to make life long changes towards your health and well-being then this is the book for you!
