Good. Beautiful oversized hardback with dust jacket. States First North American Edition. Does have prior owner's information inside the cover, and on the first page. Is embossed (sealed like a notary seals a document) with the prior owner's initials on a few pages. Does not affect the reading of the text, or the appearance of the book as the embossing is the color of the paper.
Wonderful pictures - I actually bought this book for the photographs and was not disappointed! The variety of subject matter is great - I love looking at the buildings and the fashions. The commentary is quite good as well - great book for armchair travelling, reminiscing or research, all without leaving the US.
