As a Language Arts/Reading teacher, I assigned this book as a summer reading project for my incoming 7th graders. They will love it. It's engrossing, exciting, mysterious and thought-provoking. The characters are well defined; the plot, easy to follow. There is just enough WWII historical background to appeal to the 12-year-old history buff and it even includes a murder mystery! It will be a hit!
