Interesting that I ordered a book I wanted very much to read...in English. And the description while shopping never mentioned it was the Korean version, not the cover either. When I place my order, the receipt said I ordered the Korean version. Surely, that was in error, no? Then the book arrived. IT WAS INDEED THE KOREAN VERSION, OMG! So, I asked for a refund and shipped it back. Still waiting on the refund. Will it ever come? Patience, patience, patience.

How to Live Off the Land
I learned about this book in the Last Whole Earth Catalog in the early 1970s, when I had just graduated from high school and wanted to pursue a simple life in the country. Helen and Scott Nearing were able to build their home in the woods out of rock and other materials they found nearby and were able to truly 'live off the land'. I found it to be a fascinating read. Although my life didn't turn out to be as simple as I dreamed it would be, I still recall how optimistic I felt about the life ahead of me when I had finished reading this book.
