For absolute beginners in linear algebra
I read the 4th edition except the starred (optional) sections.
I am an economist and found little difficulty in reading this book. However, Chapter 7 is more difficult than the rest of the book, and I did not entirely understand the last example of Section 7.4.
The book contains errors, but I found them to be obvious. Maybe some of them are absent from the 5th edition.
I recommend this book to absolute beginners in linear algebra who have some experience with reading proofs.
