Yellow cloth boards with a bit of wear at bottom front corner. Previous owner name/date at upper corner of front endpage. A sound and solid copy, lacking the slipcase. 112 pages. This compilation of photographs taken in the 1930's recount cowboying that is still practiced today. I purchased the book to get ideas for a planned oil painting. It hit the mark for me. The black and white photos were perfect, they alone told the story. The wranglers with their chuck wagons, comradery, and damned hard work allows you to enjoy an era that still exists today. I imagine that reading "Charles Goodnight" by Haley sort of prepped me for this book.
