A book that should be compulsory reading for every young person in America!
For too long the revisionists have altered, misrepresented, and often, just outright lied about the founding fathers and their beliefs. This, over 150 year old work, goes miles towards the goal of unshackling our politically correct captive history; and freeing the reader to understand the tenets and principles that inspired the inception of the greatest nation in history!
The lessons contained within it's pages should inspire us still today to rise up against the foolishness of multiculturalism, political correctness, humanism, and the myriad of other cultural malaise, and embrace our legacy and heritage; lest we become a byword amongst the nations... Something that elements in our midst openly subscribe to with shockingly increasing regularity.
It begs the question; if selflessness, sacrifice, patriotism, fidelity and love of family, fellow, and countryman are so evil... How is it that since our inception, no other nation has enjoyed the extent of God's unmerited favor to the extent of America as long as we purposed to be a beacon of hope, peace, freedom, and blessing to the utter reaches of the world. I pray that this book impacts the next generation of readers for the good.
And in parting, to the high school history teacher who cavalierly dismissed the accomplishments of Washington to a young and impressionable mind some thirty years ago with this comment; "Other than being the first president, he really didn't do much..."
