Binding edgeworn and rubbed, with spine lettering faint; text block lightly age toned, with foxing to preliminary leaves. Quite tight and decent first clothbound edition of this campaign biography. "Barrett's Authentic Edition" first issued in a rare wrappers version, then one week later in this clothbound version.
