In the same miraculous manner, as did so many other boys and girls around the world, Ronny entered life. Quickly after his "congratulations" from mommy's warm womb, he was expected to fully participate in family life. With so many competing, unruly siblings, he felt as if he didn't quite fit in. Ronny soon discovered he was rather different. For most boys school seemed to be a fun/fulfilling experience, but being "different" ... it was a nightmarish experience. A confession from Ron: I, an innocent, na???ve and fearful soul (with only a minute, unsophisticated "pea brain" to help me get through life's rigmarole of random events), stand before you naked and unashamed; yet, so afraid. I, a gay and barely happy young man - with suicidal desires - had no caring mentors to guide my fearful footsteps. Thinking very cockeyed at times (with only the usage of a rather dilapidated brain), I thought "doing away with myself" would be a better way to confront non-stopping negative emotions that society forced upon my already weakened vulnerability and awkward search for happiness. As though I was constantly being bombarded by mean spirited and/or well-meaning-folks' ignorant, hateful, arrogant and possibly "evil" agendas... I wondered if happiness would ever walk in a boy's - my - footsteps. From early childhood to young adulthood, trying to fit in was a challenge, which took him to the deepest part of his soul. Only Ron's Creator could rescue him from his negative-self, to bring forth a vibrant "metamorphosed" human being. Becoming a stronger person through all the nightmares, e.g., society's placement, his own making, Ron now is a well-balanced participant in society, with realistic joy; humbled, with appreciation and thankfulness.
