Originally released: 1953. 2 discs. Das Land des Lachelns (The Land of Smiles); Die Lustige Witwe (The Merry Widow). Formerly owned by a collector, this is a 2 CD set. The disks are near pristine and play cleanly. I just finished playing the set. The 87 page booklet is also like new. It includes performer information along with tracks and timings. This is followed by an essay and a synopsis in English, in German, and in French. This is followed by the libretto in parallel German and English.
