Education is an art. Educational work, today, is considered a delicate task of accompaniment, of a shared life project, of intentionally proposed goals, and of values assimilated by those who facilitate the educational experience itself: the educator. Vitally linked to the educator, the center of all educational action is the student, in his own social context, in his personal dynamism, in his generational sensitivity, in his dreams, and in his aspirations. It is an educational art that touches the most sensitive fibers of the whole student: the heart. The heart is understood as the center of decision-making, as the place where affections are clearly present, as the meeting point where will and reason converge, like the horizon in which educational love rubs and intertwines with reason and openness to transcendence. In this book I propose that this intention be re-read as a positive accompaniment of strongly unitary and holistic personal life projects, both for yourself as person and as, educator, and for the person who you have decided to accompany in the wonderful experience of being a better human being every day.
