As organizations are more and more digital the critical practices of marketing and leadership are increasingly indistinguishable. So why are the disciplines so often separated? This is a life or death idea if humankind is to achieve a more unified and sustainable future. The world needs an entirely different mindset and approach. The big question is, how do we re-engineer such broken paradigms? We imagined a new leadership framework. In it, the old bastions of marketing and leadership are entirely recast. We applied our thinking to the most significant challenges we all recognized, and that brought us together in the first place.We realized that the nature and magnitude of these global organizational challenges can only be resolved by the commitment of socially responsible businesses - and in particular their conscious leaders. Only they have the power at scale to address the root causes by thinking and leading differently. This means a complete shift in for everyday decisions. Our work started as a blog by author Virginie Glaenzer, that turned into a tweet, that got a comment, that brought together four strangers (CEOs, Founders, and Community Researchers) from entirely different backgrounds. This nexus occurred just weeks before COVID-19 drastically changed everything. The pandemic subsequently altered our humanity, redefined how we conduct trade, obtain resources, and demonstrate leadership. This shipwreck allowed us to write our manifesto on how best to weather the unprecedented storm.We see a world where leadership and marketing are indistinguishable because they unite and communicate a better way to live and thrive. A singularity brought to life through a style of business thinking so essential that it bridges the gaps between isolated thinking and often deliberately separate practices. We explain the future for such singularity from several perspectives and practical experiences.We believe it really will save the world.
