The first part of the book is in the form of conversa tions and tells the experiences day by day of two young men who are visiting Paris. They do not go to out - of the-way places, but they do see the important places and observe the things which a wide - awake young per son is sure to notice in a strange city. Part II is in the form of letters, written by one of the two young men, some to his friend, now in London.
