This meditation reflects on the nature of Love in relation to what we understand about energy in science. It connects Love and Energy and posits a physics of love and a spirituality of energy. This is rooted in what we know about how energy makes connections, and what we know about how love reaches out to relate to the other. In that reaching out, is Love really fulfilling its own nature? This meditation reflects on the nature of Love in relation to what we understand about energy in science. It connects Love and Energy and posits a physics of love and a spirituality of energy. This is rooted in what we know about how energy makes connections, and what we know about how love reaches out to relate to the other. In that reaching out, is Love really fulfilling its own nature? The way this happens must take seriously the autonomy and freedom of the other, for love would not be love, if if transgressed that freedom. Is the reaching out, a way of understanding cosmology and evolution, but also the ways of Love's Energy? Does the reaching out of Love include a certain kind of embedding of Love within the otherness of the other, again without reducing the freedom and responsibilities of the other? The words of this meditation reach out in their own way to the possibilities and propensity of this approach to the meaning of Love. The ideas came from a larger work, a trilogy on cosmology, quantum and evolution called "Love's Energy," which took ten years to research and write and two trips to CERN!
