This was a great addition to the "LAST" trilogy of books. This is the second I have read. (I have Last Breath left of the three). Each can be read without the others, but you will want to read the rest as well. In this story another Sheilds agent (Andrew) must solve a 24 year old case, as well as a current murder. Both of the same person...seems unlikely one can be murdered 24 years after they were first murdered? Well, this story tells how the plot unfolded from the beginning. There are some great twists at getting there as well. He is paired with another agent bent on finding out the truth for her father who was the agent on the first murder (and he got a conviction and death penalty of a man at that time). This story uncovers the past and brings danger with it, as well as a HUGE surprise in who was involved. You will be surprised at who the murderer is this time. As well, you will be surprised at the solving of the first crime as it fully tells the who and whys it could happen the way it did. You will love this book!
