Un ep???grafe de la obra se ocupa de reconocer el papel protag???nico que desempe???aron los artistas europeos exiliados en la Rep???blica Dominicana en la d???cada treinta y cuarenta, del siglo XX, periodos de grandes conflictos internacionales como la Guerra Civil Espa???ola y la II Guerra Mundial. Se destaca la influencia magisterial de los artistas espa???oles, alemanes, jud???os que en su conjunto, impactaron la educaci???n y la cultura nacional, la cual se encontraba aislada del Mundo como consecuencia de la dictadura de Trujillo.
