A multitude of characters all live in Eula, Idaho in the late 60's or 70's. Very good writing style, some powerful scenes, simple, clear, mainly chronological. Not very gay. Just the one main character, Enrique, is at the dawning of his realization that he's attracted to men. It's way down-played. The other guys I have talked to about the book all thought it was a worthwhile read.
