Por otra parte, aqu??? la ca???da de la se???ora provinciana tiene lugar entre dos cortejadores muy diversos: el m???s seductor gal???n de la ciudad, que acaba triunfando, y un can???nigo de la catedral. El retrato de este can???nigo es pieza clave del libro.
