La presente investigaci???n tuvo como objetivo general describir la relaci???n existente entre la pasi???n por el trabajo, y la resiliencia en la calidad de vida profesional en una muestra de 130 empleados de enfermer???a del Hospital General de Mexicali, Baja California. Una investigaci???n cuantitativa, no-experimental, en la cual se utiliz??? un dise???o tipo transeccional, mediante la recolecci???n de datos medidos una sola vez. Se utilizaron tres instrumentos, uno para medir pasi???n por el trabajo de 14 ???tems, uno para medir los niveles de resiliencia, de 25 ???tems, para medir los niveles de fatiga compasional un cuestionario de 30 ???tems, as??? como un cuestionario socio demogr???fico de 35 ???tems, la confiabilidad fue determinada a trav???s del Alfa de Cronbach dando puntos superiores a 0.70 en las variables, siendo positivo para el an???lisis. Los resultados indican en la muestra un nivel de bajo a alto en su calidad de vida profesional, concluyendo que el personal de enfermer???a encuentra su trabajo satisfactorio al cuidar a otros, debido a la cultura colectivista que hay en M???xico, la gente pertenece a grupos o colectivos donde se supone deben cuidarse unos a otros a cambio de lealtad.
