Scientist Victor Francen races against time to avoid the cataclysm, while Francen's religious-fanatic brother (played by director Gance) puts his fate in the hands of God. Seller's Description:
Colette Darfeuil, Abel Gance, Jeanne Brindau, Victor Francen, Samson Fainsilber. Fine in fine packaging. Language: French. Run time: 105 mins. Originally released: 1931. A.K. A. Paris After Dark. 1996 Something Weird Video release. NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE 105 minute film but the shortened 54 minute version cut by American distributor Harold Auten and released as a roadshow attraction in 1934 with a prologue by astronomer Clyde Fisher. Still quite a rarity. Tape and case are fine. Has trailers and additional stuff at the end added by Something Weird.
