Lors du premier, il sera condamn??? ??? mort, mais cette condamnation sera r???duite lors du second proc???s. Il fut graci??? en 1993, peu de temps avant sa mort trois ann???es plus tard. Il laisse derri???re lui un souvenir mitig??? en Centrafrique. Une partie de la population ne se souvient de lui que comme ???tant un dictateur violent et sanguinaire, adepte des d???tournements de fonds, des ex???cutions sommaires et des arrestations arbitraires.
