The five so far best-known commemorative scarabs belonging to King Amenhotep III, which depict the hunting of wild animals, date from this period. This book provides a detailed examination of these scarabs and also includes objects ranging from amulets, fake vessels and votive offerings to cosmetic articles as well as finds from the Amarna Period. It concludes with an examination of the ushabti of Nu-neb found in tomb 291 in Thebes.
