The fourth volume of the journal contains the proceedings of the 14th IBG yearly meeting, a multidisciplinary meeting that took place from February 7th to the 8th in St. Gall with a conference theme of "Plagiarism." The phenomenon of plagiarism is combined with the problems of intellectual property, their scholarly utilization and legal safeguards as well as the changing concepts of authorship in the age of digitalization. The interdisciplinary oriented studies place their focus on the closely related ideas of adaption, copy and (literary) forgery as well.
