On his way home he has a chance encounter with another friend who gives him the incentive he needs to pursue the matter, doing whatever he must to earn a spot on the team. Klete must learn to cope with fear, frustration and constant heckling, obstacles that ultimately lead to his relationship with Kid being at risk and, with that, go his chances of ever joining the team. The ending is an emotional one for both Kletus and Kid as they discover the heart of their relationship and what neither has admitted...until now!
