Steve Albini was asked to produce this final U.S. release, and it's a screeching and wailing chunk of strum in the manner of their over-the-top debut LP The Gift of Life. Still, noisy and abrasive as it is, it's fairly tuneful and engaging in its own grubby lo-fi way.
