If you're a mystery lover and haven't discovered Peter Lovesey's series with Inspector Peter Diamond of Bath, England, don't miss out. The plots are ingenious and the pleasure is also in the wit of his detective. There's about 17 books in the series. Lovely is a terrific writer, sharp, funny and warm. This wasn't one of his best but still good.
