Very good. Trade paperback (US). Glued binding. 96 p. Karate Kid, III. Audience: Children/juvenile. May be very worn, soiled, torn, or barely holding together. Used textbooks do not come with supplemental materials. Pages have yellowed, the cover's top right corner is torn.
Daniel doesn't just get karate lessons from Mr. Miyagi, he gets discipled. And he learns amazingly fast, and gets into competitions with a bully, and at the end the bully's teacher and Mr. Miyagi have a match, too. Karate is glorified, and there are good thoughts and lessons about self control in there, but there's also a lot of unrealistic resolution, too. If you have a kid who wants a karate story, this can fill the bill, but I am not impressed with the principles behind the story.
