As a I kid I was stunned and intrigued when I first lay my eyes on a picture of KISS, they were in mi eyes the coolest ever and they rocked. As an adult I still like their music and I am still intrigued about these four New Yorkers who became allmost an culture 70s icon/myth.
Now, the best part of this book is that it really takes place both back in the seventies and today. There is a good part interviews and such which is based from a manuscript never released back then but there are also lots of modern day stuff, like why the reunion came about and the bands thoughts about it. Something that I really enjoyed was the thorough walkthrough of all of KISS albums. You get input from all involved making the record and also a rundown of allmost each and every track per album.
If you are into the history of rock myths, KISS or just like an interesting read I can recommend this book. It is great.
