Aside from that, however, Jungle Guitars is a fairly standard Strunz & Farah album, with the two guitarists working together to create intricate webs of new age-influenced easy listening instrumental pop. There's a bit of Peruvian influence here and there, as on the mandolin-decorated "Selva" and the handful of songs goosed along by Latin hand percussion, and the tempos are a bit faster than on those Strunz & Farah releases that are aiming for a more relaxing feel.
