Not illustrated. 1874 edition. Excerpt: ..."wonderful" in the Messianic prophecy by Isaiah (ix. 6). Ver. 24.--Samson Shimshon), from Shemesh, the sun. Ver. 25.--The Camp of Dan, or, Mahaneh Dan. One of the encampments of the Danites in their celebrated migration to Laish, as related in chap, xviii., but which belongs to an earlier date-Probably this was the starting place. Chapter XIV.
