What if God was One of us?
This is a good book getting the reader to think "What if Jesus came to live in my town?" How would I treat Him? How would my neighbors treat Him? What about the churches? Would He fit in? Why or Why not? It's easy to read.

Joshua - A Parable for Today (and tomorrow)
This was a book I received as a gift. I have very little time to read so the books I do read have to catch my attention and keep it for me to finish a book. When I first looked at the book and realized that the author was a retired Catholic priest, a red flag went up. I did not want to read a book that was going to preach to me. Joshua did not preach, but it did make me take stock of what the Bible really wants us to do. This is a wonderful story of the presence of Jesus in the modern world and the obstacles that he would probably encounter and how he would solve them. I was pleasantly surprised that Joseph GIrzone the author, was unbiased in his account of all religions and didn't seem to favor one over the other. This book will make you think how you are worshipping. I recommend it to anyone of any faith.
