Neben personalpolitischen Entscheidungen und konzeptionellen Entw???rfen f???r die drei zentralen Wirkungsfelder (Kirche, Schule und Universit???t) wird das Predigtamt auf Grundlage neu erschlossener Archivalien rekonstruiert. Herders Ziel einer m???glichst unmittelbaren Wirksamkeit zeichnet sich in verschiedenen Amtsvollz???gen ab. Die sensiblen Einf???hrungsmodalit???ten sowie die anhaltende Akzeptanz des ???berarbeiteten Gesangbuchs, des Katechismus und der Perikopenrevision, die unter R???ckgriff auf den handschriftlichen Nachlass untersucht werden, zeigen, dass Herders Nachwirkungen mit jenem pers???nlichen Ideal zusammenh???ngen, das auf ein Weiterwirken der Impulse und nicht auf die Wahrnehmung eines Urhebers oder Vermittlers ausgerichtet ist. Diese Arbeit wurde 2006 mit dem Hans-Lilje-Preis der Akademie der Wissenschaften zu G???ttingen ausgezeichnet.
