If you have always thought or suspected there was more to Christianity than is generally taught, this book is for you. Though it can be a little dry in some parts, it is stimulating in its thesis and opens up new possibilities to those who are willing to take in new evidence of who Jesus was.

Jesus Lived in India
There are approximately 50 books, written by mostly Indian authors on the years Jesus spent in India-from age 8 or 10 to around 30. The modern versions of the Bible do not discuss where Jesus was during those years. This very important book by Dr Kersten, a German author specialized in religious history, provides circumstantial proof as to the whereabouts of Jesus within India-circumstantial because it is not possible to prove without question anything that happened thousands of years ago. The author traveled to the areas in India to see for himself the evidence, and interviewed knowledgeable individuals from the Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Apparently, Jesus was trained in both traditions in the Indian monasteries and temples. The tombs of Moses, Jesus, his mother Mary, his wife Mary and his child are all found in the Kashmir area. The photos included in the book add to the author?s findings. For the open-minded person, the book has a lot to offer. The childhood of Jesus, travel to the East, spiritual training, return the Middle East, crucifixion, escape, and back to the East as portrayed in the book will make the reader re-think about modern Christianity. More recent books and televised programs on the possible finding of the family tomb of Jesus will contradict Dr Kersten?s discovery. There are other versions that contradict both of the above findings (Jesus tombs in India as well as the Middle East). In any case, ?Jesus Lived in India? is an excellent read for Christians as well as non-Christians. The author?s perspective on the subject can be an eye-opener to all readers. Very impressive book, highly recommended by this reviewer.
