Very good. **SHIPPED FROM UK** We believe you will be completely satisfied with our quick and reliable service. All orders are dispatched as swiftly as possible! Buy with confidence! Greener Books.
Will delight adults or sophisticated 10-year-olds who aren't bothered by slightly old-fashioned language or setting (the book is set in London of the early 1900s).
The book is about cats, friendship, cats, honour, cats, responsibility, life and death and CATS! These aren't cartoonish "Hello Kitty" creatures either, but real cats living, fighting and explaining to one small boy why they do the things they do.
It's a wonderful book, involving and challenging for younger readers and touching and bittersweet for older ones. There's also terrors a-plenty and general excitement in life as seen from a cat's-eye point of view.
Get it, read it, love it and buy a copy for someone else!

Sweet book, hsunting
This is a wonderful book, very moving. The reviewer before me did a great job outlining it, so I'll just say it's a longtime favorite, I was a little girl when I first read it, and would recommend it to readers of all ages.

About Jennie
Jennie is a book for all ages, for those who love cats to those who aren't sure. This book starts out with a lonely little boy, who only wants a friend and ends up transporting you to a new life experience. It is written in the first person, so as I read the book, I became Peter, who suddenly found that he was a cat, lost and alone in an unknown world. Then he meets Jennie, who becomes his teacher and friend. It is she who teaches him how to be a cat, to wash, to hunt and what the rules of this new feline society are. Things he needs to know if he is to survive. Come and live life through their eyes. I don't think you will ever be able to look at a cat quite the same.
