Documents installation shots of American-born, Berlin-based sculptor Jason Dodge's 2013 exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle. Does not include the second, companion volume. Jason Dodge is a sculptor who draws objects from everyday life to explore their narrative potential. What we have done is the artist's first comprehensive exhibition in North America and the premiere of two major works that dominate the Henry's Stroum Gallery: The piece after which the show is titled, What we have done. and The living in the southern most part of the gallery, among other works. A publication was produced in conjunction with this exhibition. Jason Dodge was born in 1969 in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Recently he has had solo shows at the Lentos Museum, in Linz Austria, the Albrecht Dürrer Gesselshaft/ Kunstverein Nürnberg, CAC Vilnius, Lithuania, the Hannover Kunstverein and the American Academy, Rome, Italy. He has participated in La triennale, at the Palais de Tokyo, curated by Okwui Enwezor, The 2013 Bienal do Mercosul, in Porto Allegre Brazil, the 2013 Biennale de Lyon, and the 2013 Venice Biennale curated by Massimiliano Gioni. In the United States he has had a solo exhibition at the Orange County Museum in 2004 and has been part of group exhibitions at the Walker Art Center, the MCA Chicago, MOCAD, Detroit, and Western Bridge in Seattle.
