"Beat Up Ford," which Ingram would name his backing group, is fine indeed; and his covers of Willie Nelson's "Pick Up the Tempo" and Robert Earl Keen's "Road Goes on Forever" are stunning examples of simplicity using, only voice, guitar, and mandolin for a wonderful effect.
