As a brand new mother I had not been able to take her classes in calligraphy. " Do what I did. Teach yourself" And this was the book she recommended. That was in 1973 and I still use it, for practise and for reference. I have taught children and adults using ideas from this guide. The lessons are logical, practical and fun. Guidelines in the back!
