Finding any material on the Italian aviation efforts during the great war is hard. Finding this kind of material in English has been impossible . . . until the publication of Italian Aces of Wold War I and their Aircraft.
This is a typical Schiffer style book -- hard bound, over sized. Many photos, and color vignettes of several period aircraft.
English is obviously not the author's first language. That said, you should have no trouble reading and understanding the content contained in this volume. As a historian, I found the 'Italian' perspectives, that frequently appear in these pages, especially valuable in adding to my knowledge of this largely ignored front.
In short, this is the best (and perhaps only) serious study of Italian Aviation during the Great War that is written in English. If you are looking for a serious study of Italian Aviation during the Great War, look no further!
