Bought the book to get information on a certain ship (which was listed in the book) that was built in 1879. Unfortunately, the book did not tell me anything new that I researched in the internet. The book is a good reference that lists some notable ship and also shipwrecks. It was worth the money I paid for it. Material is a little outdated (1985) but still a good reference book. Most ships has a small column of information such as weight, owners, year built, structure, etc. Nothing on ship registration. Some ships have history on them.
