Seller's Description:
Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
My favorite exercise and stretch in this wonderful, and helpful book, is the Brill chicken which helps straighten your back and relieve tension and pain in between the shoulder blades and in the chest from slumping while on the computer or sitting for long periods of time.
She also recommends it for airline travel and I don't doubt it would be helpful there too.
My son, who has had some back pain from many hours on his job in front of a computer, has also found the emergency pain relieve positions and stretches of great help.
I have bought more than one copy of this book because it is so helpful to us - each of us has a copy (one for work, etc) and it has helped us frequently.
Thank You Peggy Brill and Susan Suffes.

The Beginning of Recovery from Pain
IF YOU ARE A PHYSICAL THERAPIST, I BEG YOU, BUY THIS BOOK! We, your clients, need to get out of pain before we can do the exercise programs you give us. Otherwise we go into muscle spasm and wind up in more pain than when we started. And we don't know what to do to get out of pain. Peggy Brill, P.T., does indeed tell us (all of us) what to do, clearly, with explanations as to why, and with illustrations. Although the writing in the book is somewhat stilted, alternating with attempts at friendliness, I have so far purchased and distributed four copies of Instant Relief. I still use the maneuvers given in the book almost daily (many are also preventive,) and I also use exercises from Brill's other book, The Core Program. IF YOU ARE A PERSON IN FUNCTIONAL MUSCLE / NERVE / FASCIA PAIN, I AM HAPPY FOR YOU THAT YOU HAVE FOUND THIS BOOK. Feel better soon.

This Works!
I love this book! I need to keep at least two copies at home and one in my golf bag. Friends always borrow it, and don't always get it back before I need to refer to it again. The stretches and excercises are easy to follow and really work.
