Great read! The only book on earth where the author actually follows every footstep of Alexander the Great in person. He travels from city to city, describes his physical travels as well as history itself, and includes local legends. An amazing book.

A fascinating read
Another excellent read from Michael Woos tracing Alexander's journey across Asia to India and back, filled with interesting sidelights on Alexander's character and the difficulties of the journey (then and now)
