An account of Macdonald's journey through Western Australia. First edition. With a portrait of Macdonald to frontispiece with facsimile signature and black and white plates throughout. Previous owner's ink inscription to front pastedown and Times Book Club label to rear pastedown. In an illustrated cloth binding. Externally, generally smart but with slight wear to extremities, occasional slight splitting to cloth to joints and marks to boards. Front hinge strained, rear tender. Internally, generally firmly bound although slightly strained in places with the odd page loosening. Bright and generally clean but with occasional spots and handling marks to text block edge and the odd slight closed tear. Good.
