This book was previously owned by Rosamond Kershaw Seibels of Columbia, SC. Her decorative bookplate is on the front pastedown. The Seibels House in Columbia, SC is the oldest house to have survived Sherman's burning of Columbia in 1865. The Seibels family occupied this house for 130 years. Though we don't know who Rosamond is, who do assume that she is a relation of this family.
