The author has contributed many researches while data collection and observed that in some cases the industrialists hesitate to bring changes in setup and maintenance scheduling but on the other hand they also want to take the best out of the equipments/ machines and workers without exceeding the limits of exhaustion. So to remove the barriers, the researchers have performed various experiments to bring the necessary changes in scheduling, setup up and maintenance and has understood the criteria to compete in market/ business by applying Total Productive Maintenance to increase the overall equipment effectiveness of the machines in the sheet metal industry.
