Let my people go, OR ELSE!!!
This book is written for a preteen. I felt like my own interpretations of the Ten PLagues was changed, by reading this book. One plague is the oldest child (son) would die from each of the Egyptian families, living in that area, along the Nile. I had always assumed (?) that the children that would die would be babies, but the author describes it another way. I have since adapted my own interpretations.
The author jumps right in on the first page, so you are immediately interested and want to keep reading. There was a minor discrepancy, when all of the animals died, but I think it was possibly left in, for dramatic flair. I don't think that maybe a preteen would even notice the discrepancy.
I highly recommend.
I received a complementary copy from Barbour Publishing. I was not required to submit a review.
