Reprint. 430pp., [4]pp. Some pages roughly opened, sticker covering writing on front fly, page and cloth boards lightly dampstained, spine ends and corners worn and bumped, a good only copy being poet Daniel Hoffman's copy with a gift inscription from "M" on the front fly, lacking the dust jacket. Most of the stories were originally published in the New York *Sun* while Huneker was the editor.
