But it was, first, to determine whether the reports in circulation, concerning the great success of the treatment, were founded on fact - secondly, to ascertain the effects of that treatment, not only on the patients of Priessnitz, but on my own person, and on the persons of three other gentlemen (patients of mine) who, having determined on a continental tour some where or other, were kind enough to accompany me to Graefenberg, for that purpose.
